SUSD

 Start Up Shut Down (SUSD) is part of a suite of training modules pertaining to  multiple helicopters used by the Military. It provides instructional simulations of many different procedures when preparing a helicopter for flight and recovering from emergencies. Used as a teaching tool the user would complete tests dealing with Malfunction Analysis, Pre-Flight procedures, Emergency Actions, etc. 

My Role:

- Programmed a controller that would load in the helicopter and set up all of its components at runtime.
- Made expansive state tress with the plugin PlayMaker to activate different components as the user completed tasks in game.
- Worked with multiple programmers maintaining the project with SVN source control.
- Used provided story boards and wire frames to gain an understanding of the overall frame work of the project and develop corresponding code base.
- Programmed various components of the helicopter cockpit, such as switches, knobs, gauges, displays, etc.
- Gained experience with NGUI
