A story of a lone pufferfish who must swim as far as it can against overwhelming odds. Crelos can puff up a few different amount each time slowing him for easier maneuvering. When releasing air Crelos gets a speed boost. The long you swim the more and more fish appear, until alas, you may travel no further.
My Role:
- Developed the game solo from a thought to shipped on iOS.
- Programmed to be easy to change the rate of fish appearing and which type based on time. Score based on distance traveled.
- Responds to basic touch controls, tap top or bottom half of screen to control the pufferfish,
- Designed with a casual player in mind, only tap controls
- Code structure makes it easy to add fish and the frequency they appear.
- subtle strategy from game mechanics, each time the pufferfish moves it puffs up some slowing it down to dodge fish easier. After to full Crelos releases the air for a small speed boost
